Elegant two-door wardrobe from the Art Deco period, made in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s or 1940s.
The piece features richly figured walnut veneer with a striking book-matched pattern on the doors and sides.
The front has a gentle serpentine curve, characteristic of Central European Art Deco furniture.
The wardrobe has been refinished and is protected with a hard oil-wax finish that highlights the natural grain while providing good durability and a pleasant matte-satin surface.
Inside there is one fixed shelf and an original hanging rail for clothes.
Clean and ready for immediate use.
