Set of four mid-century dining chairs designed by Antonín Šuman and produced by Mier in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s.
The chairs feature distinctive high bentwood backrests with elongated arch-shaped openings and beautifully grained walnut veneer.
The entire set has been professionally restored.
The wooden frames have been carefully sanded and finished with hardwax oil, giving them a natural matte appearance.
The seats have been newly upholstered with fresh foam and high-quality woven fabric in four complementary muted colours.
All chairs are in excellent restored condition, with solid and stable construction, ready for use.
A well-preserved example of 1960s Czechoslovak furniture design, combining an unusual backrest design with warm walnut tones and understated upholstery.
