Armchairs no. 739 - Wyrobki - Original 30's – 70's furniture

Armchairs no. 739

This set of two Bauhaus style cantilever armchairs was produced in the 1940’s by the Wschód Zadziele.
The company was founded in 1921 and produced tubular furniture, also under license from Thonet and Mücke Melder.
In 1966, the village of Zadziele, along with a furniture factory, was displaced and flooded with the waters of the artificial Żywieckie Lake.
The armchairs were restored – the wood was finished with varnish, the seats were upholstered with new fabric.
The chrome plating is preserved in its original condition with a visible patina.
